My name is Gary (he/him). I’m a sex and relationship therapist who partners with clients to help them live authentic and fulfilling sexual, spiritual, and relational lives.

  • I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor registered with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists (OBLPCT).

  • I am a member of AASECT, the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists.

As therapist and client, we lean into rather than shy away from difficult topics and conversations. Some areas of clinical interest include:

  • Working with LGBTQ+, intersex, and neurodivergent folks (I identify with most of these communities myself)

  • Concerns around sex traits, sexual and gender identity, orientation, and expression

  • Sexual concerns and “dysfunctions,” including but not limited to low sexual desire / low libido, erectile dysfunction (ED), premature ejaculation (PE), anorgasmia, pelvic pain, and vaginismus

  • Relationship dynamics, from non-monogamy to communication and conflict challenges

  • Faith deconstruction, reconstruction, and spirituality

  • Unpacking purity culture

  • Faith or spiritual growth and (re)engagement

Our work is effective when my expertise and insight meets your commitment to therapy, wisdom from lived experience, and personal strengths. We work to address your needs through collaboration, flexibility in how we work on goals, and building upon what’s already going well.
